She tries her best to be a supportive mother, even though you can’t say she ‘gets’ Conny. Is the monster thing just a phase like the imaginary (she thinks) friend phase, or is it a serious delusion? And what’s with all the fighting?
Well, at least, with all the backtalking and stubbornness, you can say it’s a sign of a well-developed and strong character, right? What else can a mother wish for?
