… Until I’ve had time to actually write it.
Really, it was either that or deliver a crappy page that doesn’t advance the story. And yes, in the light of last week’s post this means I’ve now used up all the non-essential actvities to cut down on, leaving only the essential ones.
I’ve decided this story needs a little rewriting to live up to my storytelling standards, and I just haven’t had the time to do that. Hence this little unscheduled break. Sorry about that.
That said, I didn’t want you to miss out on the very little Maurice Sendak tribute I’ve written into the dialogue after his death last Tuesday. After all, this happens to be a story about children’s books, and Sendak wrote some of the best, including the very first favorite book I ever had, making me a life-long book lover at the age of three.
